Elsewhere

This book was first subjested to me from a friend in a bookstore. I looked at the book and it looked intersting, so i checked it out. In the first couple of chapters i was surprised by how much i liked it.When i kept reading i noticed something weird about it. In the first few chapters one of the characters was talking about how they got shot in the head. humm.....thats interesting. There were also several hints to this particular character being black. Very odd.... Despite that questionable character, the book was very good and showed a boat load of imagination and writing skills.
This book is about a 15-year old girl named Liz who gets hit by a car while she is on her bike and dies. But she doesn not go to heaven, she goes to a place called Elsewhere. In Elsewhere you age back wards, starting from the age you were at your birth.Then when you are a new bor baby, you get sent back down to earth as a new person. Soon after arriving at Elsewhere, Liz sees that it is just like earth, malls, jobs, money, friends, pets. Everything earth has, elsewhere has. While in Elsewhere, Liz meets her great grandmother(who died befor Liz's birth), and 3 new friends that had already been in Elsewhere. I thought that this is a very interesting take on what the after life is like. I do recomend this book to any readers who are interested to something new and fresh.
